Hubbell’s HI-IMPACT DIN Rail Utility Boxes offer a labor saving way to provide utility power and/or communications to any control cabinet. Installing the DIN Rail Utility Box is as easy as snapping the box vertically onto a 35mm DIN Rail and connecting the line, neutral and ground wires to the terminal block for power or punching down Xcelerator jacks for communications. The HI-IMPACT surge protected DIN Rail Utility Box DRUBTVSS15HI features a Hubbell HBL5262GYSA 15A surge receptacle. The receptacle has a 15 kA peak current rating and features a standard LED and audible alarm status indicator. The indicator notifies the user if the surge capability has failed due to an extreme transient. The HI-IMPACT communication DIN Rail Utility Box supplies 2 or 4 ports of Xcelerator technology, delivering industry leading transmission performance to critical data applications out on the shop floor. |
